BILGI SIS

SIS (Student Information System) is the Student Information System of Istanbul Bilgi University. Accessible at https://sis.bilgi.edu.tr it is used to manage student enrollment in courses, grading, transcripts, documentation of student exam results and other evaluation scores, creating student schedules, monitoring student absenteeism, and many other student-related data needs in an educational institution.  

SIS (Student Information System) is also of great importance in meeting the academic needs of our academic staff. It is a system that allows the information of academic staff to be viewed and updated on the internet and information about academic staff can be obtained.  

SIS (Student Information System) is designed and designed as a software that will meet the common needs of our university. The SIS has become an integrated system over time, considering the information flows between modules such as creating academic semesters, opening courses, creating course schedules, student registration, processing incoming information (grades, permissions, etc.) into the system, military service procedures, graduation procedures, and exam procedures.  With an integrated system, data repetition is reduced and systems that are consistent with each other are established.

As in the whole world, the use of the internet and the opportunities provided by the internet is increasing significantly in our country. As a result of this situation, even if people have never used computers and computer programs, they have become able to access the internet, meet their needs and navigate. By adopting this concept, SIS has been designed in a very simple way to meet all the needs of our students, academic and administrative staff and constantly updates itself in line with the needs.  

Today, the source of information and the communication between the people related to this source have gained great importance. Rapidly developing technologies and human beings trying to keep up with these developments in every field are constantly improving their studies in order to benefit from the developments in the field of education at the maximum level. The SIS system also keeps itself constantly updated and integrates itself into these technological developments.
